New Magento Community Edition 1.9.2 was made available last month. You can download it here. Magento is a powerful technology for ecommerce website development. ·         Improvements in Technology and updates: The new version of Zend 1 Framework and Redis integration is also available with new updates. Over 105 quality improvements have been made through the product.
·         Automated functional testing framework:  Now more than 170 automated functional tests are available for Community Edition Merchants with in-house development team. This does not only improve quality but time to market is also decreased. It has become easier to do basic tests for acceptance which are performed while adding extensions to the CMS, and while customizing or updating it.
·         Continuous security enhancements:  The new version slots recent security patches SUPEE-5344, SUPEE-5994 and SUPEE-628 into the core code. With these patches sites can be provided with better security features. These patches can applied on sites using earlier versions of Community Edition to fix critical security gaps. This latest information can be viewed on the Magento SECURITY Center too.
